so last night when we were all getting ready to go to sleep is when traci and i saw something flying around the room that the girls were sleeping in. we thought it was a bird and it flew back up the stairway. katie said “i think its a bat”. when maggie got up to turn on the lights we saw that it was definately a bat! we all freaked out and started to cover their faces and screamed so loud that the boys upstairs heard us. amber and katie got up to close all the doors and we were bat free. just as the room got quiet katie got a text message from matt that said “i swear there’s a bat in here.” haha we sent the bat upstairs with the boys and fell asleep

Hello St. John and St. John Youth Group supporters;

We arrived at Rockford safely and have already had our first Coed Group meeting about how service helps us to better understand Jesus and about selfishness. We also had our first worship service with our light (candle we were given in service) from St. John and Pastor Ric.

Please keep us in your prayers, but I have to pass this off to the youth. They are so excited to tell you about all of their adventures.
